While at the Mill I had the pleasure of working as compositor and finish artist on several short films, including “Influx,” directed by Daniel Uribe, seen below. Additional short films included “In Fields Forlorn,” a short film directed by Dante DeSario, https://www.imdb.com/title/tt10572618/, and the short film “Soft” by Daniel Antebi. For both of these films I worked as lead compositor and finish artist.
“Influx”
Short Film by Daniel Uribe. Worked with several artist at the Mill to generate the whirl effect seen in the cup in various shots, as well as providing additional cleanup and color revisions in finish sessions with the director. Certain shots are cg, certain shots are not :). Enjoy!!

‘Influx’ is a poetic short film that sinks into the themes of domestic violence, alcoholism, and love. Inspired by Leslie Morgan Steiner's TED talk: ‘Why domestic violence victims don’t leave’. And by the countless stories of mothers trapped in abusive relationships and the power of love for their children.
